In 2012, I have started a Mastermind group with a few friends. Today I miss it.

How it worked
The concept comes from Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich. If you haven’t read it, this should be on your bucket list.
With 3 other entrepreneurs from the Centre des Jeunes Dirigeants (CJD), we decided to create a Mastermind group with the idea of sharing goals, strategies, tools and tactics.
We set up a few rituals, a way to share files and made a weekly call on skype or GoToMeeting.
For me, it was the first time I settled goals in such a precise manner and it had enormous effects: just a few months after we started, I had lost 10 kg, my family was installed in London and a miracle was on his way, our first baby boy.
Why we stopped
After a few months, the magic was not the same and our meetings were less prepared. We were more talking about problems than dreams or goals. We all got bored and decided to change the frequency of our call from weekly to monthly. Soon, nobody was preparing anything and there was no mastermind anymore.
What should I do next?
I really miss this because sharing preoccupations and goals with people who have the same kind of dreams is extremely powerful. It multiplies everything.
For the moment I do not know what to do, I am having a look at some high end Mastermind groups organised by some infopreneur like Joe Polish. There are a lot of other but the good one are very exclusive and expensive. You can do a lot of things with $25,000… and it is a waste of money if you don’t find the right group.
The other way would be to try to create my own Mastermind again. I could use some Pro Tips for Assembling Your Own Dream Mastermind Group but it is a lot of work and I am not ready for that.
No worries
Perhaps I shouldn’t worry because if I don’t find the Mastermind, the Mastermind will find me…
Cheers!
